Eligibility Criteria of Agniveer Vayu 2024

Educational Qualification:–

Science Subjects:Candidates must have received at least 50% of their total marks and 50% of their English marks in the Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent test, which included mathematics, physics, and English and was administered by Education Boards authorized by the Central, State, and UT governments.

OR

Completed a three-year diploma program in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronics, automobiles, computer science, instrumentation technology, and information technology) at a polytechnic institute recognized by the Central, State, and UT with 50% of the marks obtained in the diploma program overall and 50% in the English course (or intermediate/matriculation, if English is not a subject in the diploma program).

OR

Passed a two-year vocational course with 50% of the total marks and 50% of the marks in English (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the Vocational Course) in non-vocational subjects like math and physics from State Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT.

Other Than Science Subjects:The requirements for candidates are that they must have passed the Intermediate/ 10+2/Equivalent exam with at least 50% of their marks in English and any other subject that has been accepted by Education Boards recognized by the Central, State, and UT governments.

OR

Completed a two-year vocational program from an education board recognized by the Central, State, and UT education authorities with a minimum of 50% overall and 50% in English, if English was not a subject in the program, in intermediate/matriculation.

Mandatory Medical Standards:-

Corneal Surgery (PRK/ LASIK)	Not acceptable.

Dental	Should have at least 14 dental points, a healthy set of teeth, and healthy gums.
General Health	The ideal candidate would have a regular anatomy and no missing appendages. He should not have any latent or current, acute or chronic, surgical or medical disabilities, infections, or skin conditions. The candidate should be mentally and physically healthy for serving duty in any area of the world, in any climate or terrain.
