Name of post: Stenographer Grade-II

No of posts: 17 posts (English: 11 posts,   Language: 6 posts)

Name of department: Assam Secretariat under General Administration Department Assam.

Scale of pay: Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/-, Grade Pay: Rs.9,400/-

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2023.

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below .

1. 5 years for ST/SC (P & H) i.e. upto 43 years
2. 3 years for OBC/MOBC i.e. upto 41 years
3. 10 years for PwBD for i.e. upto 48 years

Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian nationals as per Article 5 and 8 of Constitution of India.

Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed a degree exam or an exam of a similar nature from an accredited university.

Typing Speed: Candidates must pass the 80 w.p.m. English and 70 w.p.m. Hindi language test administered by the Board established and approved by the government in order to be eligible to take the 100 w.p.m. English and 90 w.p.m. Language test (Assamese, Bengali, and Hindi).
