Educational Qualification of IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025
-> Trade Apprentice (Fitter): NCVT/SCVT-recognized two-year full-time ITI (Fitter) program after completing matriculation.
-> Trade Apprentice (Electrician): NCVT/SCVT-recognized two-year full-time ITI (Electrician) program after completing matriculation.
-> Trade Apprentice (Electronics Mechanic): Matric with regular full time 2(Two) year ITI (Electronics Mechanic) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
-> Trade Apprentice (Instrument Mechanic): NCVT/SCVT-recognized two-year full-time ITI (Instrument Mechanic) program after completing matriculation.
-> Trade Apprentice (Machinist): NCVT/SCVT-recognized two-year full-time ITI (Machinist) program after completing matriculation.
-> Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 3 years regular full-time mechanical engineering diploma from a recognized college or university with a minimum cumulative score of 50% for general, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates and 45% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates for reserved seats.
-> Technician Apprentice (Electrical): 3 years regular full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized college or university with a minimum cumulative score of 50% for general, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates and 45% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates for reserved seats.
-> Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): 3 years regular full-time Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized college or university with a minimum cumulative score of 50% for general, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates and 45% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates for reserved seats.

-> Trade Apprentice-Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Class 12 (but below graduate) students from a recognized Institute or Board must have a minimum of 50% overall for General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates, and 45% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates applying for reserved posts.
-> Trade Apprentice-Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders): Class 12 (but below graduate) students from a recognized Institute or Board must have a minimum of 50% overall for General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates, and 45% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates applying for reserved posts.
Additionally, Candidates must also have a “Domestic Data Entry Operator” skill certificate for training lasting less than a year, provided by an awarding organization recognized by the National Skill Qualifications Framework or by any other Central Government-approved institution.
